Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait interactive Music Video
This is spectacular. When I first saw it it was really quite a mindblowing moment. And it shows how great things can be made out of freely available data. Mass-customization at its best.
Sidenote: of course it would be a lot better if there wasn’t all this stupid outcry about Google Streetview in Germany…
WOW. Go and type in your childhood address at thewildernessdowntown.net to play the new, interactive video for the song “We Used To Wait” by Arcade Fire. You’ll get the best experience with the Google Chrome browser. And guess what, Germany: “There is not enough streetview data” for my full experience. So you better pretend to be born somewhere else to get the whole fun. The video was directed by Chris Milk and built in HTML5. Good idea. Thank god for the internetz.

We can’t wait.
We believe in it.
We make paper.
We doubt we’ll see anything cuter today.
Fantastic family portrait photo idea: Everybody jump on the bed!
